ABOUT THE ARTIST

Becky Hochhalter is an award-winning artist, illustrator, designer and sculptor from Terre Haute, Indiana, with nearly four decades of experience. Her background in corporate graphics informs her precision in managing public art projects.

She has completed over 50 public works in 11 cities, including monumental murals and sculptural wall installations. Her projects have been awarded numerous grants, and her work has been commissioned by municipalities, tourism bureaus, arts organizations, and private entities, including the City of Fishers, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the NBA.

Becky has also organized free community art events, served on the Downtown Terre Haute Design Committee, and currently serves on the board of the Vigo County History Center and the advisory group for the 41|40 Arts and Culture District.
